Love to Love 11 Fat is Fabulous: Ep.1 The Fat Bridesmaid

The scene opened with Cristy (Isabel Oli) jogging in the park accompanied by her faithful friend and confidante since high school Boyong (Paolo Contis) . Cristy is one of the bridesmaids of her cousin Jenny’s wedding, and she desperately needs to slim down right away. After days of exercise, Cristy’s weight still hasn’t changed. . Boyong then decided to bring Cristy to a doctor for a liposuction, but the doctor refused citing that Cristy was a hopeless case.
During their cooking classes, Cristy was teased by her cousin and classmates by calling her that hateful name “Cristy Pata”. Cristy was so frustrated , she tried to commit suicide by trying to hang herself. Their teacher tried to stop her but still Cristy jumped. It was fortunate for Cristy that the cabinet where she tied the rope broke when she jumped. But unfortunately for their teacher, she was the one hurt when Cristy fell on her.
Cristy confided what happened to Boyong and decided not to attend the wedding at all. But Boyong reminded Cristy about Bruce (Justin Cuyugan), her ultimate crush since high school. What if Bruce will be there? So, despite constantly receiving nasty remarks, name calling and other “pang-aapi” tactics from her cousin and other people, this didn’t stop Cristy from attending the wedding just to see her ultimate dream boy.
When Boyong and Cristy arrived at the church, Cristy was very nervous. A strange, nerdy guy (Jojo Alajar) , interrupted Boyong and Cristy’s conversation, by asking them directions on where the wedding will take place. The stranger kept on looking at Cristy, as if he’s interested in her. Finally Cristy’s moment came, she saw Bruce at the church, just standing there. Cristy was so excited she jumped for joy, causing her to drop her flowers. Cristy was reaching for the flowers when she heard a ripping sound. Her dress was torn apart when she tried to bend. How embarrasing! How will Cristy get out of this situation?
